Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov and Primate of Orthodox Church of Ukraine Epifanii had a conversation.

The meeting, which took place at the residence of the Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine, was also attended by representatives of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and Ukrainian clergy.

They discussed the current situation of the state and the nation in the military and socio-economic areas, noted the importance of chaplaincy and agreed to promote the development of this institution.

Kyrylo Budanov expressed his gratitude to Metropolitan Epifanii for the constant spiritual support of the intelligence officers and the entire Ukrainian army, which strengthens our common will to fight.

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine stressed that in the face of russia’s brutal invasion, it is necessary to help the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine with everything possible and gave his blessing.

“Freedom is a precious gift from God that should be protected for the sake of future generations. I invoke God’s blessing on all of you,” said Metropolitan Epifanii
