Addressing the participants of the event, representatives of the regional authority emphasized that military intelligence has always been a secure foothold of Ukrainian statehood and an important tool in protecting national interests from external threats, with Chernihiv reconnaissance men always demonstrating high professionalism, honour and patriotism.

Commander of Operational Command “North” Major-General Viacheslav Nazarkin, veterans of military intelligence and public activists addressed the servicemen with sincere greetings, for whom loyalty to Homeland, decency and professionalism have become not only their motto, but the purpose of life.

In the regional center the guests had a chance to learn about the structure and logistical support of the unit, as well as to visit the room of combat glory.

The concluding event in the festivities was a concert with the participation of the military-and-musical center of the Land Forces of Ukraine.
