Representatives of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Took Part in Meeting of an Interagency Working Group on Implementing Defence Review
The event was attended by representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Presidential Office, the NSDC Staff and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Purpose of the meeting was to summarize the results of implementing the defence review, in the course of which the following tasks were accomplished:
assessment of state and prospects for the development of the security environment (global, regional and national aspects) in the context of military security;
review of capabilities in accordance with their functional groups;
resources planning;
development of a promising model for building defence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the defence forces.
The results of the review will become the basis for the development of the documents, such as: the Military Security Strategy of Ukraine, the Strategic Defence Bulletin of Ukraine and the State Programme for the Development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
