DIU representatives take part in working meeting on the introduction of combat army system “BARS”

The event was held in the Military Academy with the participation of leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In the course of the meeting, participants discussed topical issues related to the development and implementation of the mentioned system in troops and procedures of preparing servicemen in accordance with the stated system.

Representatives of the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had an opportunity to look at the training-and-resource base of the Military Academy and attended practical exercises with the cadets of the educational institution. Attendees paid special attention to the special tactical training, hand-to-hand training and mountaineering, performance of assigned tasks in the course of marksmanship and tactical exercises.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General of Army of Ukraine Victor Muzhenko, who attended the meeting, informed that introduction of a combat army system based on new methods, which are adapted for fighting conditions to the highest degree possible, will promote the increase of the level of training of servicemen, influence their moral and psychological state on the battle field and ability to quickly react in extreme conditions of modern combined arms combat.
