The all-Ukrainian art project “Military-and-field ART” brought together more than 70 craftsmen from the decorative-and-applied arts sphere. Its essence lied in combining military-related items – ammunition, equipment, technical means and self-protection means delivered from areas of combat action - with Ukrainian folk art. What ensues will become a symbol of peace and victory.
During the training-workshop, art-therapist Vladyslava Shvets acquainted attendees with the basic types, techniques and methods used in art-therapy. Folk decorative art craftswoman from Chernihiv, Tetiana Stadnychenko taught attendees the basic techniques of Petrykivka painting on items of military origin. This activity demonstrated its effectiveness for the adaptation of ATO participants and members of their family to a peaceful life.
