Estonia's Ambassador and Military Attaché, Annela Kolk and Eero Kinnunen, visited the DIU's Kabul 9 special unit at the front.

They discussed the situation on the frontline in the Zaporizhzhia region, witnessed the performance of combat tasks using unmanned systems, talked to the reconnaissance men, and got acquainted with the advantages and problems existing in the armed struggle against russian invaders.

DIU servicemen expressed their gratitude to the diplomats for the systematic support of Ukraine and military intelligence, particularly from the Estonian people and government.

They presented the Ambassador and the Military Attaché of Estonia with symbolic, memorable gifts from the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov.
