On December 7, a meeting of Ukraine-NATO Commission at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs took place in Brussels under the chairmanship of NATO General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg.
During the meeting, the Allied Members confirmed their unwavering stance on the support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, absolute condemnation of aggression from the side of Russia and non-recognition of Crimea’s annexation. In addition, the effectiveness of sanctions against Russia were mentioned as well as the importance of their continuation until Russia ceases its aggression against Ukraine.
Moreover, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of NATO member states assured the continuation of assistance rendered to Ukraine in bringing its national sector of security and defence to NATO standards.
