Mykola Oleksandrovych Kupianskyi took part in liberation of Western Ukraine and Poland from fascist invaders, he forced crossing over Vistula and Oder, liberated Warsaw, captured Berlin. He was twice wounded. He finished a war on Elba.
He was awarded with three orders of the Great Patriotic war (various classes), Order of Glory and Order “For Courage”, and many other medals.
Mykola Oleksandrovych was an honorary member of Military Intelligence Veteran’s Fund; he shared his combat experience with the young patriots of Ukraine.
The personnel of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine have expressed sincere condolence to family and friends of the deceased.
