With the assistance of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have identified three war criminals who, in November–December 2022, threatened to kill, tortured and raped a civilian resident of the Veselivka community in Melitopol district, Zaporizhzhia region.
“I was sure I would not leave there alive,” the woman said about her time in Police Station No. 1 of temporarily occupied Melitopol, where she was illegally detained and tortured by three individuals.
Two of the perpetrators are collaborators who served moscow in the so‑called “security service” of the occupation administration in the Zaporizhzhia region. The third is an officer of the russian army who moved the woman from the station to a private house and subjected her to abuse for three days.
DIU publishes a photo and personal data of the war criminal — a citizen of the aggressor state, russia, who distinguished himself by particular cruelty.
