Occupation Forces Trying to Find Weak Spots in Ukrainian Defences

russia has no resources to launch a large-scale offensive before the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. This was stated by a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in a comment to Kyiv Post.

"While information is spreading about Russia’s large-scale offensive scheduled for February 24, Ukrainian military intelligence reports that russia has already launched a full-scale offensive on February 24 last year, which continues today," the representative of Ukraine's military intelligence said.

Andrii Cherniak said that russia plans in the coming weeks to intensify its efforts in the east of Ukraine. He noted that now russia is "trying to find weak spots in our defences. However, according to our information, russia’s command has no sufficient resources for a large-scale offensive action. The main goal for the russian troops remains to achieve at least some tactical success in the east of Ukraine."

Andrii Cherniak also emphasized that russia lacks high-precision weapons.

"russia is facing a shortage of high-precision weapons, and despite this fact, it will continue to apply missile terror against the civilian population in Ukraine. The russians have already utilized more than 80 percent of high-precision missiles. They are trying to restore their production, but so far they have not succeeded in this regard," the representative of Ukraine's military intelligence concluded.
