In the temporarily occupied Kherson, the representatives of the occupation administration make demands on the employees of the “ambulance” to write statements of consent to work under the auspices of the “new government”. This also involves consent to receive a salary in russian rubles. In case of refusal, the employees are given a temporary work permit with a warning about a possible dismissal at any moment.
Also, the occupiers are trying to resume training at the Kherson Maritime Academy – the start of the recruitment of cadets for the 2022-2023 academic year has been announced. A green flag with the mark “Z” has been hung on the academy’s buildings.
Measures are underway to collect passport data of citizens. Currently, all employees of communal enterprises and pensioners who receive so-called humanitarian aid are required to fill out questionnaires. Data is also collected from those who turn to the occupation authorities with any questions – registration of newborns, provision of medical assistance, etc. Also, all those who purchased starter packages of mobile operators of the russian federation receive SMS messages with an offer to provide passport data in exchange for 5GB of Internet.
Employees of the FSB of the russian federation (approximately 50 people) live in the territory of the Kherson reception-distributor for children. There is also information that interrogations of abducted Ukrainians are conducted in basements with the use of torture.
