On January 30, 2025, the documentary “One Summer in Ukraine” premiered in Ukrainian cinemas.
The film focuses on the stories of volunteers from around the world who came to Ukraine to fight against the russian occupiers in the ranks of the DIU International Legion.
“This is an important film about real warriors, caring people of goodwill who responded to Ukraine's call at a critical time and took up arms with our fighters to destroy the russian occupiers. Their deed encourages our people and shows that Ukrainians are not alone in their difficult struggle,” said Andrii Yusov, representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
“The stories of foreigners who came to Ukraine reflect not only their courage but also deep solidarity, which is key to understanding the global struggle for peace,” said the film's director, Volodymyr Tykhyi.
The Babylon'13 team, the documentary's creators, will donate all ticket sales proceeds to the International Legion of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
