According to the Press Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat, Tobias Ellwood, Chairman of the Defence Committee of the House of Commons of the British Parliament, expressed "absolute support for Ukraine in times of trial".
"You are facing a powerful authoritarian regime that cannot agree with the direction you have chosen for your country. Instead, he attempts to impose you his model of autocracy. Today, Ukraine is at the zero position of the battle between authoritarianism and democracy," Tobias Ellwood said during his speech at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
