An officer of the DIU "Artan" active operations unit with the call sign Favorit gave an interview to Ukrainian Radio and discussed the unit's outstanding combat operations, particularly the unknown details of the operation to clear 40 hectares of forest in the north of the Kharkiv region.

"A small group of people were, roughly speaking, thrown into the enemy's rear on armored vehicles. They established positions there and cut off a large area at once. Later, it was gradually cleared, and thus we accelerated this process," the intelligence officer said.

He also reminded about the open recruitment to "Artan."

"My advice to all people is to make up their minds now. They should look for units that will be useful and will do exactly what they want. We, for example, try to give a choice. It doesn't mean that everyone has to be an assault rifleman. Someone can be a driver; someone can fly a UAV, whoever is better at it.
