Military-historical museum of educational institution was established on July 25, 1992.

Today, about 60 patterns of military equipments are on the two open grounds of the museum. Also museum includes exposition hall where about 1000 exhibits are remained.

Military-historical museum of National Defence University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniahovskyi is opened every working day from 9.00 till 18.00, on Saturday – from 9.00 till 14.00, Sunday is day off.
