NATO will continue to render practical assistance to Ukraine

July 11, 2017
NATO Secretary General stated

The North Atlantic Alliance will uphold the principles of inviolability of state borders, will not recognize the illegal and illegitimate annexation of Crimea and will continue to render practical assistance to Ukraine. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated this during his official visit to Ukraine to mark the 20th anniversary of the Charter on a Distinctive Partnership between Ukraine and NATO.

“NATO does not recognize and will never recognize the illegal and illegitimate annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. We have declared repeatedly that Russia must withdraw its forces from the east of Ukraine, stop supporting militants and stop all its activity aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, particularly, regarding cyber attacks and other manifestations of hybrid warfare”, - Jens Stoltenberg emphasized.
