Ukrainian drones continue to impress with their capabilities, making the enemy feel vulnerable. British businessman and philanthropist Lord Ashcroft witnessed the effectiveness of Ukraine's latest Defence Intelligence UAV systems. He shared his impressions in an article for The Express.

"For three years, the war has changed drastically. In some aspects, we have gained an advantage over the enemy. Some of our capabilities, particularly aerial and maritime drones, have been an unexpected shock for the russians," says the Head of the UAV Systems Department of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence, сallsign Borets.

During the visit, the British guest was shown Bober kamikaze drones, which were the first to strike deep into russian territory, and Magura V5 naval drones, which have already destroyed nine russian warships.

"We found a way to stop russian helicopters trying to intercept our drones. The upgraded Maguras were equipped with R-73 missiles and, in December 2024, successfully downed two enemy Mi-8 helicopters, while another Ka-26 was damaged," Borets reveals.

The next goal is to enhance the drones' armament to take down enemy fighter jets. "Ukraine continues to dictate the rules on the battlefield, and the enemy is being forced to adapt to a new reality," Borets concludes.
