A three-day competition to determine the best reconnaissance group was held in the ATO area.

Reconnaissance men overcame obstacle courses, crossed mine fields, rendered first medical aid and passed a test to demonstrate their level of engineer training.

After completion of the event, all groups returned to performing their assigned tasks.
