Yesterday, Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, met with the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania Arvidas Anushauskas.

The head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry stressed that the meeting reflects the strategic nature of Ukraine's relations with Lithuania, fruitful defence cooperation and mutual commitment to provide peace and security in the region.

During the event, the parties exchanged views on a number of topical issues of mutual interest. Particular attention was paid to the situation with the intensification of Russian-Belarusian military cooperation and the concentration of Russian troops near the border with Ukraine.
