May 18, 2024Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, has given an interview for "Taking Back What's Ours" project, implemented by the Centre for Countering Disinformation and the hromadske NGO.

The conversation has been focused, in particular:

• on russian information and psychological operations before and after the war against Ukraine, and the fight against them at the state level;
• on the priority tasks for information and cybersecurity specialists;
• on the limits of impact on the media amid the war;
• on social networks and messengers that can harm national security.

"Anything that is anonymous, unreliable, has no confirmation, direct links, authorship ― these are that not worth wasting your time on. There are official sources, there are official media that can responsibly provide up-to-date information. There is also a list of verified media that have a good reputation. This list is well-known. It is from this list that I recommend consuming operational and analytical data," said Andrii Yusov.
