October 23, 2016, Ivan Khrupchyk, a serviceman of the 130th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was killed, while performing a combat task near Luhanske village, Donetsk region.

With the aim of honouring the memory of the perished reconnaissance man, according to a decision of Liubeshiv district council, dated from December 20, 2019, Khrupchyk Ivan Vasyliovych was posthumously awarded with title “Honorary Citizen of Liubeshiv district”.

Also, this day representatives of Liubeshiv district council visited Ivan Khrupchyk’s tomb, laid flowers and honoured his cherished memory of perished serviceman with a minute of silence.
