Person of the year is chosen in Sumy region

The title “Person of 2016” was bestowed to ATO participant, reconnaissance man Serhii Yushchenko from Hlukhiv
His story is not only a story of war, but also the story of personal feat. It is about a man who did not lose heart in spite of the circumstances. After being severely wounded, the reconnaissance man remained not only undaunted by misfortune, but he also found courage to continue leading a productive life.
According to the Head of Regional State Administration Mykola Klochka, the first thing that struck him about Serhii is his huge will-power, love of life and the warrior’s optimism despite the circumstances. He is an example for the whole community of the region and a worthy man, who deserves recognition and assistance.
