According to assessments of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the aggressor state of russia is forced to conscript 1,000-1,200 individuals into the occupation army to replenish losses on the front.
Meanwhile, the level of dissatisfaction among the russian population with forced mobilization has now risen to almost 70%.
This was stated by Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, during a discussion at the event "Ukraine and the World Ahead 2024" organized by NV.
"According to various estimates, every day the russian federation is capable of conscripting about 1,000-1,200 individuals into its armed forces through mobilization and recruitment. This is on a daily basis," said Vadym Skibitskyi.
According to the him, most recruits in russia are sent to the front to replenish the losses that the aggressor state is experiencing in the war against Ukraine.
"In general, russia is trying to maintain the level of staffing of its grouping, the combat units that are on the front line, at the level of 92-95% in order to maintain the pace of the offensive," noted the DIU representative.
He also said that dissatisfaction with mobilization is growing in russia: if at the beginning of the year, about 60% of russians opposed forced conscription, as of December 2023, this figure has increased to 69%.
"This is not yet a sign that there will be protests, but such sentiments already exist in russian society," explained Vadym Skibitskyi.
