A perished warrior’s wife, attended at the competition, told that her husband played football every week on this small stadium.

“He weekly played football with his classmates. It was a tradition, and now he, maybe, is very surprised and glad. My family and I are very grateful for arranging of tournament in his honor. There are guys in every team, with whom he played: classmates, fellow soldiers, and even those, with whom he was in Ilovaisk. That’s why, we support all teams”, – Anastasiia said.

Six football teams of town and rayon took part in tournament. All participants were divided in two groups of three teams. Groups’ winners met in final joust.

All teams received certificates for participation in tournament and finalists – certificates and prizes.

The best defender, attacker, goalkeeper and player of tournament received sling cutters engraved with the owner’s name from the command of the 3rd Special Forces regiment.

At the end of event, competition’s participants laid flowers to the memorial plaque in honor of Dmytro Prydatko and paid the tribute to the memory of hero-scout with a minute of silence.
