Monument in honor of fallen reconnaissance man Serhii Koshmal is unveiled in Chernihiv region
A monument in honor of the reconnaissance man from a separate mechanized brigade Serhii Koshmal, who was killed in June of last year while performing a combat task in the ATO area, was unveiled in Khalymonove village.
In accordance with the Presidential Decree, Serhii Stanislavovych Koshmal is posthumously awarded the order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi for personal courageous and high professionalism displayed while protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the oath of allegiance.
Countrymen strive to commemorate the courageous reconnaissance man. So, in September of 2016, a memorial plaque was installed on the house where Serhii had lived, and in October of last year a memorial plaque was placed on the façade of the school where he had studied.
