The commander of the DIU special unit “Group 13” with the call sign Thirteenth talked about the work of the MAGURA V5 maritime attack drones with journalists of the Japanese media NHK.

The article on the newest Ukrainian weapon, designed to fight enemy ships and other targets, describes its technical characteristics: length of 5.5 meters, speed of over 80 kilometers per hour, and payload of 250 kilograms.

The Ukrainian Magura is recognized as the most effective naval strike drone: during the full-scale Russian invasion, the DIU's military successfully hit 18 Russian ships with this weapon, 9 of which were completely destroyed.

“I have never seen such a fast drone as Magura,” - says Thirteen.

He added that it is very important for Ukraine to continue developing unique and technological weapons, including unmanned vehicles, as well as strengthen the military industry in general.

“We are progressing with the development of new weapons and achieving results. As the hostilities continue, it is very important to be independent and not just rely on the support of other countries,” - emphasized Thirteen.
