Ukrainian Minister of Defence attended Military Academy
Within the framework of working tour to Odesa district, Minister of Defence of Ukraine attended Military Academy. Being in educational institution, General Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak handed the costly presents to 10 cadets who before entering into Academy performed missions on defending the Homeland in ATO area. In addition, the Head of Defence department noted that all cadets – ATO participants will receive decorations from the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
– It is extremely honorary to shake hands with you – warriors who had obtained combat experience in ATO area, decided to receive military speciality and to unite their lives with service to Homeland. Thank you for faithful service! – General Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak underscored.
In general, this year 198 contracted servicemen and conscripts entered the Military Academy, among them 132 – ATO participants.
