Future intelligence officers win in hand-to-hand fighting competition
According to the results of the competition, the second place was given to the joint team of the faculty of highly mobile landing troops, and the third place – to the faculty of missile and artillery armaments of the educational establishment.
The winning team of the faculty of military intelligence and Special Forces was awarded a cup, and the cadets (from the winning teams) who won in individual championships were awarded with medals, certificates and valuable gifts.
– Participation of future officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in such sport events will enable them to improve their hand-to-hand fighting skills which, if necessary, can be used in combat conditions, – the chief of physical training and sport faculty of the Military Academy Colonel Ihor Ovcharuk noted.
Cadets who demonstrated the best results will join the Academy’s team and will take part in hand-to-hand fighting competition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and European championships.
