Future Reconnaissance Officers Get Ready to Perform Assigned Tasks

Recently, a two-day bilateral special-tactical training of intelligence cadets of two courses took place on the training area of the Military Academy.

First-year cadets acted in defence, performed the necessary engineering works, organized the fire plan and surveillance system.

In turn, fourth year cadets acted as part of special-purpose reconnaissance groups. Once the special-purpose reconnaissance groups were prepared for actions, the teams moved out to their starting areas. After that, the cadets crossed about 50 km of land to the areas which were to be reconnoitered. Having worked out the question of conducting reconnaissance activities of a simulated enemy, future officers improved their skills of equipping an area for rest and carried out firing exercises in special-purpose reconnaissance groups during a raid.

According to the assessments of the faculty leadership, the cadets-intelligence officers coped with their tasks.
