Representatives of the charitable organization Ukrainas Atbalsta Biedrība ("Ukraine Support Foundation") have delivered another batch of aid for Ukrainian military intelligence: 120 FPV drones, a Hummer H3 SUV, and night vision devices.
The equipment has already been dispatched to Defence Intelligence active units carrying out combat missions on the front line.
Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Chief of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence, thanked the Latvian people for their support.
"This is another stage of assistance from Latvia — a strong nation helping equip our combat units with drones and other essential tools for the battlefield. We are grateful to our friends for their contribution to European security," Skibitskyi said.
Funds for the equipment were raised through a charity campaign organized by Ukraine Support Foundation, with donations from caring Latvian citizens.
The initiative's organizer, Latvian National Guard Major Jānis Slaidiņš, stressed that Latvia's support will continue.
"Latvia stands side by side with Ukraine in its fight for freedom. We understand that Europe's security is being decided on the battlefield, and we are ready to provide Ukrainian soldiers with everything they need to win," Slaidiņš said.
The Latvian volunteers also visited the Memorial to Ukrainian intelligence officers and honored the memory of those who gave their lives for Ukraine's freedom and independence.
Thanks to the people of Latvia for strengthening Ukraine's military intelligence!
Glory to Latvia! Glory to Ukraine!
