The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov addressed the graduates of the Kyiv School of Economics who received their master's degrees.
He congratulated them on successful completion of studies and delivered a speech:
“Despite the war and numerous trials that all Ukrainians have faced, these young people have stayed in Ukraine to get their education here to become better and make our common country better.
As George Patton, an American combat general and hero of two world wars, once said: “Don't stop. Someone has to be the first, why not you?” There are no unattainable goals for a person who is eager for knowledge and ready for challenges”.
Addressing the graduates, he said that they should not try to be “as good as anyone else” or “on par with the leaders” but should be number one.
Kyrylo Budanov also thanked for the honorary title of the Kyiv School of Economics for his achievements in the development of Ukrainian statehood, security of the Ukrainian nation, and strategic cooperation with educational and scientific institutions.
“I will be honored to bear this distinction with dignity,” concluded Kyrylo Bulanov.
