Kyrylo Budanov Is Hero of Ukraine

Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov was bestowed with the highest state award ― the title of Hero of Ukraine and presented the Order of the Golden Star.
The relevant Decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi dated by 8 February 2024 was posted on the website of the Head of State.
Kyrylo Budanov was bestowed the highest state award for personal courage and heroism displayed in protection of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for selfless service to the Ukrainian people.
