On April 15, 2024, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov reported on the intentions of the aggressor state russia to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi during a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

This was stated by the Head of State on his Telegram page.

“A report by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Chief of Defence Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation on the main directions, our defence needs and our future actions. Intelligence data: Oleh Ivashchenko from the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and Kyrylo Budanov from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on the enemy’s likely actions. Report of Defence Minister Rustem Umerov on contracts for the supply of weapons, electronic warfare systems and drones,” Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.

The meeting was also focused on the protection and restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
