The situation on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea has led to massive cancellations of tours for illegal recreation in the resorts of the peninsula.

Almost 80% of russians have canceled tours organized for June 2024 in occupied Sevastopol. The Crimean-wide rate of cancelations of already booked tours last month was more than a third.

First and foremost, russians who have changed their minds about vacationing on the occupied Crimean coasts are worried about the difficult security situation caused by the occupation.

In particular, the unreliable and deadly operation of the invaders' air defense system has influenced the massive refusal of russians to vacation in Crimea.

Another risk factor is the vulnerable illegal Kerch bridge, which remains the main artery for so-called tourism from russia and is used by moscow for military logistics.
