Since beginning the Russia’s armed aggression, the battalion personnel have been taking part in its repulsing. A large number of the reconnaissance men were awarded the state decorations. Unfortunately, the 54th reconnaissance battalion suffered combat losses in the struggle against occupants.

Today, the battalion is one of glorious military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Reconnaissance personnel are example of high morale and professional skills.

We sincerely congratulate you, combat sworn brothers, on the Day of the military unit. We wish you good health and new achievements for the sake of Ukraine! Thanks to you, not only tens of millions of Ukrainians have an opportunity to live in peaceful life, but also you firmly hold security shield for the whole Europe.
