Within the work of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the bodies of fallen servicemen were exchanged under 40 to 46 formula.

Among of 46 our defenders are 11 Mariupol defenders, 21 – defenders of Azovstal, 14 – defenders of Staryi Krym (Mariupol local Community).

All Ukrainian perished defenders will be buried with due honors. The work on the returning bodies of perished defenders and Ukrainian prisoners of war home continues.

According to the resolution No. 257 by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War was established on March 11, 2022.

The Headquarters includes representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health Protection of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the National Guards, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine.
