According to a report, Ukraine’s government has approved and submitted to the National Security and Defence Council the Strategy for the Development of the Defence Industry.

An important focus of the Strategy is the introduction of NATO standards, corporatization of defence industry enterprises, the import substitution of critical materials, and the support of innovation through stimulating economic and financial mechanisms.
