Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, gave a speech at the Forum of russian volunteers.

In his address, the head of Ukrainian intelligence noted that the limited military operation of russian armed groups opposed to putin in the belgorod and kursk regions of russia is only the beginning of the struggle for their homeland.

“The citizens of russia decided to free their country from the old man and his henchmen who usurped power, illegally changed the Constitution and lives in an alternative reality with his henchmen. The war against putin's regime is a legitimate right of citizens to demand justice,” said Kyrylo Budanov.

According to him, putin’s so-called elections are illegitimate.

“Whatever result the russian central election commission writes is a fake, because the elections did not take place not only in the border regions. A large number of polling stations will not be able to count the ballots, because russian activists, realising the meanness of these ‘elections’, spoil them,” said the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

He added that a real “ballot box revolt” had begun in russia ― such a large number of spoilt ballots and ballot boxes had never been seen anywhere else in the world.

“Putin understands that in the eyes of world leaders, especially China, he is becoming an unstable ruler who is unable to ensure order in the elections in his country. He shows himself to be a weakling in the eyes of his people and the elites. Weakness is what he fears most. What is happening in russia now is weakening the regime in general and putin personally. We have to use this weakness and make it an additional weapon,” said Kyrylo Budanov.
