In the early hours of July 16, 2025, a powerful explosion rocked the outskirts of Tokmak, a temporarily occupied city in the Zaporizhzhia region.

A green UAZ-452 van, commonly nicknamed a "Bukhanka," was destroyed in the blast.

Inside the vehicle were two russian servicemen, members of an aerial reconnaissance crew that specialized in using Skat 350M unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

This type of drone had been used by russian forces to detect positions of Ukraine's Security and Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhia region and to adjust artillery fire.

Both drone operators were eliminated, along with the Skat 350M UAV they were transporting inside the vehicle.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reminds that there will be justice for every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people.
