On July 10, 2025, Ukraine's Defence Intelligence, in cooperation with the local resistance movement, conducted a successful special operation in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region.

A powerful explosion occurred at a site that russian forces had turned into a logistics hub, housing troops and military vehicles on the premises of an industrial facility.

The detonation happened while russian soldiers were casually unloading military equipment. As a result, five members of the so-called russian National Guard ("rosgvardiya") were eliminated.

The strike also destroyed a satellite communications station, which the russian military command had intended to use for coordinating occupation forces.

The armed resistance continues.
