On November 29, 2025, two explosions rocked the temporarily occupied Berdiansk district of the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of a successful operation carried out by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine together with the Resistance Movement, russian forces from the so-called “Akhmat” unit suffered losses.

Ukrainian partisans uncovered that kadyrov’s fighters had set up a corruption scheme involving stolen fuel — repeatedly selling siphoned diesel at the same spot along a road near Berdiansk.

After the trading point was mined, two controlled detonations were carried out at the moment when the corrupt occupiers had gathered.

The first explosion caused panic among the russians, prompting survivors to flee. Shortly after, another enemy pickup truck arrived at the location of their illicit fuel scheme — and the second charge detonated.

As a result, two vehicles used by the “akhmat” profiteers were successfully destroyed. The number of enemy personnel losses is being clarified.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reiterates: every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people will receive a just response.
