For more than two years of official chatbot operations, Ukrainian intelligence has received thousands of appeals from our citizens on the occupied territories. Those messages helped us destroy tons of enemy equipment and Russian occupants.
The Viber version of the bot has implemented technologies that guarantee the safety of users.
“Our priority is the safety of informants. Before the public launch of the bot, we thoroughly tested it and made sure that enemy special services would not be able to access either the correspondence or the data of the user who contacts the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine,” said Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
He added that Ukrainian intelligence continues to successfully use chatbots to collect information.
“We are interested in information on the movement of the invaders' military leadership, military and technical developments of the aggressor state of Russia. Sometimes even a tiny bit of information can be decisive,” noted Andriy Yusov.
