“The special operation was planned and performed by military intelligence of Ukraine,” said Major General Kyrylo Budanov in an interview to The War Zone.

The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said that aircrafts have come to city of Mariupol to help the Ukrainian military. Aircrafts’ crews were heroically overcoming attacks of enemy aviation and a dense russian air defence built around Mariupol city in order to deliver to the defenders of the besieged Azov metallurgical plant weapons, ammunition, medical supplies, food, as well as soldiers to help the Azov Regiment.
