Heroes do not die!
On June 8, 1994, the Hero of the USSR, legendary intelligence man of Afghan war of 1979–1989, lieutenant colonel Yaroslav Pavlovych Horoshko tragically perished during combat training.
Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Public Affairs many times informed community about the events on retaining the memory about hero-intelligence man that are conducted both in the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and at Yaroslav Pavlovych’s home. Particularly, on June 3, 2014, at the site of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine were published announcements about the events conducted by his countrymen to the 20th anniversary of his death.
