Heroes Do Not Die! They Will Remain in Our Hearts Forever!
Today, a daily morning ceremony on commemoration of Ukraine’s defenders, who died this day in different years of the war as a result of the Russian armed aggression, has been held in the territory of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The event has been attended by relatives of the fallen heroes, representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and servicemen of the Kiev garrison.
Remembrance Bell has rung today 21 times, two of them – in the honour of fallen intelligence officers of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine: Colonel Volodymyr Dovhaniuk and Colonel Ihor Shevchenko, who were killed in 2015 while performing a combat task. Both intelligence officers were posthumously awarded with the national awards.
The attendees have paid the tribute to the memory with silence minute and laid the flowers near Remembrance Stela.
On the same day, events on commemoration of the fallen comrades-in-arms have been also held in the relevant unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
