The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is implementing comprehensive measures regarding the social protection of servicemen. In particular, on 14 September 2017 a round table discussion involving military lawyers and volunteers of “Juridical Hundred” NGO was held in Kyiv.

In the course of discussions attendees assessed the importance of adopting laws regarding the social protection of servicemen.

Based on the results of the event, a decision was reached to direct a letter to the Verhovna Rada which would outline nine priority drafts to be considered for approval.
