The high level of Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance amazes even representatives from NATO and the U.S. Armed Forces. Ukrainians managed to build it virtually from scratch over a three-year time span.
It all started in the traditional fashion: Ukrainians purchased drones for their own money, installed video surveillance systems on them and presented the equipment to their defenders.
But now the state has stepped in. A Center of Aerial Reconnaissance was established in the Armed Forces of Ukraine over a year ago and it fulfills an essential and important task for the front.
