Traditionally, on the eve of May 9, the Veteran’s Fund of Military Intelligence organized and congratulated reconnaissance men of the Second World War.

During this event, held by the Fund’s Head Major-General (ret.) Levchenko Yurii, in the address of war veterans were said sincere greetings and the words of deep gratitude by the leadership of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Association of Veterans of Intelligence of Ukraine and the guests.

Annually, on the eve of a great holiday, the leadership of the Veteran’s Fund of Military Intelligence finds new ideas to create a positive mood and pleasant impressions for winners who defended our land from Nazism. This time, famous actor who plays role of Second Lieutenant Vorobiov in a legendary film “Only old men have gone in the battle” Vilorii Pashchenko sang the songs of war time and presented the veterans unforgettable emotions. At the same time, the veterans were delighted with the singing of song “Smuhlianka” (“Swarthy girl”) by Vilorii Ivanovych Pashchenko, the war veteran Olha Ivanivna Kozyrieva and the Head of Fund Yurii Tymofiiovych Levchenko.
