In the course of the holding of counterterrorist operation, it was uncovered a number of problems that reduce effectiveness of troops (forces). These include, in particular, an obsolescence and inadequacy to the requirements of modernity of surveillance and reconnaissance facilities, the necessary calculation to compute data for shooting and so on.

Taking into consideration mentioned above, the specialists of state concern “Ukroboronprom” stepped up developments and tests of technical facilities which are necessary to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Particularly, it was prepared experimental pattern of panoramic TV-complex which will be used in command system by armored armaments, and it was started a testing of compact personal computer “Karat” – an element of automated control system of tactical level of the Land Forces.

The capabilities of “Karat” will enable to solve a lot of communication, information and tactical tasks in a condition of a modern warfare.
