Some 155 people, who were evacuated from the Gaza Strip as part of the mission of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, arrived at Chisinau airport on a flight from Egypt.

Some 145 citizens of Ukraine, nine citizens of Moldova and one Palestinian were rescued from the conflict zone.

Then, the Ukrainians will return to home.

Among the evacuees are many families with children, as well as one Ukrainian citizen who has cancer: upon arrival in the capital of Moldova, she was immediately taken by ambulance to one of the checkpoints with Ukraine, where she was met by a team of our doctors and taken to the hospital in Odesa.

The operation to save our fellow citizens in the Middle East continues.
